The DW-5K boasts a 30-foot RF range while operating in continuous power conservation mode for a 6-month average battery life.

Because the DW-5K uses radio frequency signals it is not susceptible to the line-of-sight issues associated with infrared keyboards.
The DW-5K utilizes a USB dongle for plug and play ease including automatic keyboard detection by the host computer.

In addition the DW-5K comes with a manual binding feature that locks in the keyboard signal providing keystroke security the ability to operate multiple wireless keyboards within the same environment and a barrier from interference with other wireless devices.

With its sealed silicone rubber keypad and robust ABS polycarbonate case the DW-5K is designed to meet NEMA 4X specifications meaning the unit is resistant to water dust and corrosive liquids.
