The UNOTRON SmartRest SRC6 uses the latest smartcard reader / writer technology.

It simply clips onto any UNOTRON Keyboard and connects to your computer via a USB port and is therefore fully compatible with Windows 98 ME 2000 and XP. The SmartRest SRC6 is compliant with all common smartcard standards and is supported by the PC/SC driver for Windows.

The Cleanliness You Want; Washable and Waterproof to IP66 and NEMA4X sealing allows you wash and fully clean the device.

Antibacterial product protection is incorporated in the plastic providing a powerful broad-spectrum inorganic silver-based biocide for enhanced anti-microbial properties.

The Performance You Expect; The SmartRest SRC6 has an integrated CCID and EMV certified Plug and Play reader for PCs with USB 2.0 interface. Beside its easy installation it reads memory and microprocessor cards.

The Smartcard Reader is designed to meet all major standards like ISO 7816 EMV 2000 Microsoft WHQL USB CCID PC/SC HBCI (Home Banking Computer Interface) the PC-2001 specification and many more.

The usage within an application is based on standardised interfaces like PC/SC OCF (Open Card Framework) or CT-API. The USB CCID support makes the integration in an existing system the easiest ever by connecting host and Smartcard Reader without the need of additional drivers.
